Mind Mystery
With over 100 optical illusions, tricks, activities and attractions, the theme park is unique in this form and Mind Mystery offers entertainment and amazement for young and old alike. In addition to the house upside down, the park features a mirror maze, vortex, kaleidoscope, an Ames room, a museum full of optical art and holograms, (un)solvable puzzles and riddles. So plenty to do for an afternoon of brainteasing. Ever walked through a house where you can’t touch the floor and walk across the ceiling with ease? A handstand on the dining table or holding a bathtub in the air with just one little finger? To give visitors room to explore and enjoy themselves to the full, and to avoid disappointment (full=full), the park uses an online ticket system where visitors can choose their own date and time of arrival. If one wants to buy a ticket at the box office, one pays € 2.00 more and there may be no more places available.

Smuggling trail
A cross-border smuggling trail has been opened at the border in Schandelo-Velden. The adventure path for children crosses the forests and rural surroundings at the border in Schandelo-Velden, partly through the Netherlands and partly through Germany. IVN Maasduinen and Stichting Veldense Volkscultuur have made the smuggling route of yesteryear accessible to the public. Smuggling was common in the border area between the Netherlands and Germany. Especially coffee, butter and sugar crossed the border from Limburg. At pancake house Jagersrust in Schandelo, children can explore an old smuggling route.
Along the route are information boards about the life of the smuggler.
Children (and adults) will also playfully learn all about nature in the border area. The ‘smuggling route’ is 2.6 kilometres long.

De Locht open-air museum
With exhibitions, presentations of old crafts, utensils and tools, Museum de Locht gives a good picture of rural life in North Limburg from 1850 to 1950. But the museum is also about modern times: mushrooms and asparagus in modern production, greenhouse farming and all modern applications of ‘food’. There is an asparagus pavilion housing the National Asparagus Museum and a mushroom pavilion housing the National Mushroom Museum. There is also a day labourer’s cottage, brewery, clog-making workshop, blacksmith’s shop and chapel located on the grounds of the Locht, also turning it into a museum in its own right. On Sundays, there are regular demonstrations and special activities for children and adults. These include demonstrations of old crafts such as: bread baking, weaving, tailoring, blacksmithing or syrup making. Children can also have fun with various old-fashioned and modern toys.
